Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has praised his counterpart Maurizio Sarri for a great work he is doing at Chelsea ahead of their Carabao Cup clash.

The Reds will host Chelsea tonight in the English Football League Cup third round before the pair meet again on Saturday in the Premier League showdown.

Sarri has taken over from his fellow countryman Antonio Conte during the summer transfer window following Chelsea’s poor run last season.

The former Napoli boss, who is unbeaten in the Premier League with West London side so far, has received a praise from German boss Klopp before the pair lock horns.

“It’s the biggest change I ever saw in such a short space of time – wow. The style is completely different. What a manager he is,” said Klopp.

“I’m pretty much a supporter of his since I saw him at Naples. Outstanding football, and now doing it after a very interrupted pre-season.”

“Starting the season and you see immediately the impact. He has all my respect. It’s really good to watch.”

“People were always talking about Manchester City being clear, and completely forgot about Chelsea. This team is really experienced.”

Chelsea have won 5 Premier League matches and one draw against West Ham United; while they lost against Manchester City in the FA Community Shield final.
