Jose Mourinho has refused to make any comment on Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba ahead his side’s Champions League clash with Juventus.
The Red Devils and the Italian champions will go head to head tonight in the Group H showdown at Old Trafford.
Pogba, who will certainly be involved in the game, will be playing against his former side and a number of former teammates.
The France international has left the Old Lady in the summer of 2016 for United and has since struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford under Mourinho.
When asked to make a comment on Pogba, Mourinho said: “I don’t like this press conference.”
“I don’t want to speak about Pogba, I don’t want to speak about individuals.”
“I don’t want to speak to the Spanish journalists because they are only interested in Real Madrid and Ronaldo.”
“You know, I’m going to play against one of the big clubs in the world, one of the biggest candidates of winning the competition. That’s what motivates me, that’s what brings me here.”
“And I think the press conference is going in another direction, so if you go in another direction, I also want to go in another direction… no, I’m serious (I would walk out).”
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager had repeatedly criticised United midfielder in media over his performances.
