Manchester United target Ivan Perisic could soon be on his way to Old Trafford following the Croatian’s impressive World Cup in Russia.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin, the Italian giants are no longer able to resist the Croatian international move this summer.
The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with United move last summer but the San Siro side refused to make a business with Jose Mourinho side.
Perisic is said to be back in Mourinho’s plans this summer following his incredible display in the 2018 World Cup with Croatia.
Therefore, Biasin believes that the Nerazzurri have changed their position on the former Borussia Dortmund winger.
“There is also Inter of the vice-world champions Perisic and [Marcelo] Brozovic,” Biasin wrote for Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web.
“Be aware of this: as Perisic played pretty well in Russia it is no longer: ‘Inter must sell Perisic to make capital gains but there are no offers’ (pre-June 30) but ‘Inter will not be able to resist the onslaught of the Manchester [United]’ (post-World [Cup] formula).”
“The same considerations apply to [Mauro] Icardi.”
Perisic joined the Italian side in the summer of 2015 from VfL Wolfsburg signing a five-year contract for a transfer fee of €16m.
