Cristiano Ronaldo owns most of the records in football, let alone La Liga. Recently, he joined Italian Serie A, leaving the Spanish league for good. But there are a few tough records that Portugal forward was never able to break. All in all, here are the top 5 La Liga records that Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to break.

5. The most La Liga appearances

Many people thought Cristiano would spend the rest of his career at Real Madrid. This would probably make him join the club of players with the most La Liga appearances. But unfortunately, Ronaldo left without even making the top 10. The record is held by ex-Barcelona goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta. Zubizarreta has appeared in 629 La Liga games.

4. The fastest goal in La Liga

The record for the fastest goal in La Liga history is held by Seydou Keita. He set it in a Valencia shirt when he scored just 7.6 seconds after the kick off against Almeira. The record remains untouchable as the goal machine joins another league. Not even Messi was close to this.

3. The most consecutive hat-tricks

Both Messi and Cristiano have scored have scored back-to-back hat tricks on quite a few occasions. But they NEVER managed to score three in a row. The only player to have achieved this in La Liga history was Real Oviedo’s Isidro Langara. He scored a hat-trick of hat-tricks in 1935.
