However, they will need to beat Delio Onnis all-time record of 299 goals in 449 appearances. He played for Monaco, Reims, Tours, and Toulon. He is closely followed by Bernard Lacombe who scored 255 times in 497 matches.

4. Gerd Muller- 365 goals ( Bundesliga)

Bayern Munich legend Gerd Muller still holds Bundesliga goalscoring records with 365 goals in 427 matches. The deadly striker scored almost every time he had a chance to shoot. He is followed by Klaus Fischer who netted 268 goals in 535 games. He played for 1860 Munich, Schalke 04, FC Koln, and VFL Bochum.

3. Silvio Piola- 274 goals (Serie A)

Italian Serie A all-time goal record holder is Silvio Piola who scored 274 goals in 537 appearances. The former Lazio, Juventus, and Novara was a force in front of goal. Francesco Totti was the only player closest to him and he retired last season. The legendary AS Roma winger scored 250 goals in 619 matches.
