2. Liverpool- 41 trophies

Liverpool is one of those teams in Europe that carry a lot of history. They were once a force both domestically and in Europe. In fact, they remain the most successful English Club in Uefa Champions League with five crowns. Jurgen Klopp side will have a chance of making it six European crowns if Salah can help them beat AS Roma and their opponents in the final.

The Merseyside giant still has a rich history. They were the most successful English Club until last season when Manchester United overtook them. They have now won 41 trophies in total. They include; 18 Premier League titles, 7 FA Cups, 8 League Cups, 5 European Cups, and 3 other European honors.

1. Manchester United- 42 trophies

English football has a new king. Manchester United is now the most successful Club in England. The Red Devils defeated Ajax 2-0 in Europa League final last season to push their total tally to 42, one more than their bitter rival Liverpool.

Europa League trophy was the only crown missing in the cabinet at Old Trafford. Jose Mourinho, therefore, made history. He delivered a trophy former boss Sir Alex Ferguson failed to win in 26 years at the helm. If he beats Chelsea on May 19 to lift the FA Cup, the tally will now move to 43 but we will wait and see.

In total, the Red Devils trophy tally stands at, 20 EPL titles, 12 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, 3 European Cups, and 2 other European honors.
