When the likes of Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez really turned on the style at Tottenham and Liverpool, most people knew it was only a matter of time before they made a big money move. It is not disrespectful to some clubs to say that they have players who are simply too good to play for them. Down are some footballers who couldn’t be playing for their current teams.
5. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
Mohamed Salah has been a revelation for Liverpool last season, with some now proclaiming him as one of the world’s best footballers.
The Egyptian’s name has been touted alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo over the past couple of months and, if he can maintain his current form, the 25-year-old will be in contention to win the Ballon d’Or at the end of 2018.
Salah is now one of the world’s top few players. But are Liverpool still one of the world’s top few teams?
4. Wilfred Zaha (Crystal Palace)

Zaha has struggled with a knee injury twice this season, yet still managed five goals and four assists in his 24 league appearances for Palace. Inconsistency has hampered him, and his team, but when he is at his best Zaha is far too good to be battling relegation.
3. Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Before Mo Salah, the 24-year-old Englishman had won the previous two Golden Boots, despite playing for a Tottenham side with whom he is yet to win a major trophy. With a high consistency, Harry Kane managed to score 20+ goals for four straight season; too good for his team.
