Former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp has criticised Arsenal for letting Aaron Ramsey leave the club.
Ramsey has been strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates and has reportedly signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus.
Unai Emery discussed transfer speculation and @aaronramsey in his press conference earlier – here’s what he said…

Ramsey, whose contract at Arsenal is due to expire at the end of this season, is expected to join the Italian champions on a free transfer.
But Redknapp believes the Gunners have made a big mistake to let the Wales international leave the North London side.
Redknapp told the Daily Mail: “Aaron Ramsey was the standout player for Arsenal in their superb victory over Chelsea.”
“It was a match tailor-made for him. Ramsey used his superior energy to harry Jorginho, always looking to pinch the ball from the midfielder and hurt Chelsea on the break.”
“Yet his brilliant performance only highlights the mistakes Arsenal have made over the last few years. How can they let such an influential player leave for nothing at the end of the season?”
“While Ramsey was causing Chelsea problems, Mesut Ozil sat on the bench as an unused substitute.”
“If Emery is not going to pick Ozil for a match of this importance, he cannot be part of the manager’s long-term plans. So why did the club make him the second-highest-paid Premier League player on £350,000 a week only a year ago?”

Ramsey joined the Gunners in 2008 from Cardiff City and has since managed to score 61 goals in 356 appearances.
