Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton has predicted Premier League winner during the 2018-19 season and top four finish.

The former England international has left Chelsea and Arsenal out of Premier League top four this season.

The Blues have employed Maurizio Sarri as new manager following Antonio Conte dismissal last month.

The new manager has only made two signings – midfielder Jorginho and goalkeeper Robert Green – ahead of transfer deadline with only two days remaining.

Sarri’s side were clearly dominated by Manchester City during the Blues’ 2-0 defeat in Sunday’s Community Shield clash.

Sutton has also revealed that London rivals Arsenal will fail to secure Champions League football for their second time in a row.

“City will win the title with Liverpool second,” Sutton told the Daily Mail when asked for his Premier League top four predictions.

“It’s too close to call between the next four but Tottenham will finish third and United fourth… just.”

Chelsea finished fifth with 70 points while Arsenal finished sixth with seven points behind their rivals last season.
