Former Arsenal right-back Lauren has revealed the right manager who could fit in Arsene Wenger position at the Emirates Stadium.

The former Cameroon international, who played for the Gunners between 2000 and 2006, has claimed that Luis Enrique is the right man to take over as the club’s manager.

Wenger, who joined the Gunners in 1996, will end his 22-year association with the club on Sunday afternoon after a clash with Huddersfield.

Meanwhile, a long list was reportedly revealed but Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and Luis Enrique are currently the favourites for the job.

“I would go for Luis Enrique because of a few facts,” Lauren said.

“The style of play, there are some parallels with Barcelona, the way they play is the ‘Arsenal way’.”

“He’s got that killer instinct that you need to manage a big team… you need a manager that has that big personality and the animal instincts to control everything.”

Enrique has been Barcelona manager for three seasons winning 9 trophies including two La Liga titles and UEFA Champions League.
