The “floss dance” was invented by 16-year-old US Instagram star Russell Horning known as The Backpack Kid in 2016. And in May 2017, the floss really took off when he performed it on Saturday Night Live alongside Katy Perry. For some reasons, the floss is taking over in the football world as well. Down are some of the famous footballers doing the floss dance.
Kylian Mbappe and Neymar
They are partners on the pitch, sweeping all before them in Ligue 1, and over the weekend, PSG team-mates Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have combined off it too in a hilarious video posted by the Ligue 1 club.
In a continuation of their on-field dynamic, the video shows Brazilian star Neymar teaching young apprentice Mbappe how to do the popular floss dance.

Dele Alli’s dance might have been wrongly calculated, but it still counts. After putting the Lilywhites 1-0 up in the 11th minute courtesy of a fine finish from Christian Eriksen’s pass, the England international celebrated by doing the “floss” in front of Spurs fans at Wembley.
However, United turned the game around and sealed a place in the FA Cup final with goals from Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera in either half.

The LA Galaxy striker, 37, appeared on the hit show hosted by Corden and was put through a series of hilarious and bizarre challenges. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has proven there’s nothing he can’t do, as he showed-off his floss dancing skills on James Corden’s Late Late Show on October 25th night.
