In many lists of the best footballers in the world, there is a lack of players based in England. The Premier League does, however, have incredibly talented players. The competitive nature of the league and high spending power of certain clubs has resulted in some of the best in the world calling the league home. Down are the best players of the League.
7. N’Golo Kante

Over the last 3 years, N’Golo Kante has played vital roles in 2 Premier League triumphs, in addition to France’s dominance of international football. The midfielder offers very little in terms of goals and assists, however, his work off the ball is arguably the best in the world.
The 27-year-old often leads the league with tackles made, and his intelligence and positional sense often result in him winning the ball back for his side.
6. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The Arsenal forward has been in the Premier League for less than a year, however, the Gabon international has already established himself as one of the most feared players in the league.
If the 29-year-old continues to score at his current rate, he will likely hit at least 100 Premier League goals, despite only entering the league at the age of 28.
5. Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah produced one of the best individual performances of all time in the 2017-18 Premier League season.
The Egyptian scored a stunning 32 goals in just 36 outings, as his pace, dribbling and finishing ability proved too much for Premier League defences. Aged just 26, Salah will continue to improve, and this time next year he may be the best player in England.
4. Sergio Aguero
#OnThisDay last year Sergio Aguero became Man City's all-time top scorer with his 178th goal for the club.

Sergio Aguero’s consistency in the Premier League has been unparalleled by other forwards over the last decade. The Manchester City striker has already hit 149 Premier League goals in only 216 games so far, and the Argentine currently shows no signs of slowing down.
