The premier league season is slowly sliding towards the end. Manchester City is officially the Champions this year and their City rivals Manchester United are fighting to finish second. Chelsea and Arsenal will have to plan about Thursday football once again if things don’t change soon. The relegation battle is also getting hotter every day. Today, our focus is best holding midfielders in the division this season. We will analyze then according to the number of tackles they have completed successfully so far.

Manchester City outcast has finally found a new home in London called West Ham United. Pep Guardiola refused to renew his contract but the Hammers thought he still has two years in his locker. The return has been great so far despite lack of pace. The Argentine has made 88 tackles so far this season. 2017 PFA Premier League player of the year N’Golo Kanté is not having one of his best seasons but still, he has been immense for Chelsea this season. The French holding midfielder has completed 102 tackles this season so far. This means he is only behind Everton and Leicester City stars Idrissa Gueye and Wilfred Ndidi respectively.
