Manchester United management wanted to rectify a serious mistake committed by legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson when they re-signed Paul Pogba from Juventus in 2016. The midfielder came through the youth system alongside Jesse Lingard but he left the club unceremoniously in 2012.
The Frenchman wanted to play but the Coach thought he wasn’t ready. He decided to leave to prove him wrong. In Italy, he lifted Serie A crown 4 times among other trophies. The Red Devils were forced to pay €105 million to bring him back home.

The pundits will say the market has gone mad but it is what it is. The Brazilian is already struggling to live up to the tag and hype. This season, the 26-year-old has netted only 4 goals. He was expected to take over from Andres Iniesta but he is struggling to create or assist goals. There are reports that Camp Nou is willing to listen to offers for him.
