English Premier League is now represented by 11 players on the list of 30 best footballers to contest for Ballon d’Or 2018.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah are among Premier League stars who are nominated for the award.
However, Kane is the only English player to have made the 30-man shortlist for the world glory this year.
The Ballon d’Or list was unveiled on Monday with big names likes of Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are included, although they failed in UEFA and FIFA awards.
Real Madrid playmaker Luka Modric is in pole position to win the France Football award for 2018 after winning the FIFA Best award.
