Real Madrid forward Raul de Tomas has extended his contract which will keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu until the summer of 2023.

De Tomas has been with Madrid since 2004 when he was only 10 years old but has managed to make his first-team debut in October 2014.

However, the 23-year-old is yet to feature for the Spanish giants again as he since went out on loan three times.

The Spaniard has spent last season on loan at Rayo Vallecano in the second tier, helping the side to regain a promotion to La Liga.

“We all have dreams. Mine started at the age of eight when I first entered this club as a child, knowing that every step I have taken to date would lead me to achieve my dream: to be a Real Madrid player,” De Tomas tweeted. “More than the club of my life, thank you. Hala Madrid.”

De Tomas, who has a dream to play for Real Madrid first team next season, has scored 24 times in 32 appearances for Rayo last season.
