Phil Neville’s son Harvey Neville, a midfielder who has been playing in Spain, has signed a contract with Manchester United.

Former United defender Phil Neville, who is one of Ferguson’s class of ’92, has revealed the news on his Instagram page on Tuesday morning.

The 16-year-old, who signed a contract on his birthday, whose image was posted holding up a No.7 Red Devils shirt.

The former England international captioned: “Proud of you Harvey Neville. Go follow your dreams!”

Harvey, who joined the Old Trafford side from Valencia, has also taken to Instagram to share the news, posting a picture of himself signing his contract.

He wrote: “I am very proud and excited to have signed for the club I have supported my whole life.”

Harvey’s uncle Gary Neville also passed on his best wishes on Instagram: “Congratulations Harvey Neville you’ve practised so hard to get where you are! Keep going.”

Both Phil and Gary Neville have all started their football at Old Trafford in 1990’s for the prior left for Everton in 2005.

Harvey became a youth-team midfielder or winger for Valencia while Phil was an assistant coach for the Spanish side.
