Fans judge clubs in Europe based on trophies and they ignore others who are consistent year in year out. Today, we want to look at the top six clubs in Europe based on points awarded by Uefa every year for the last 48 years. The total number of titles won does not determine the position in the table. It is consistency over that matter on this list.
6. AC Milan- 314 All-Time Points
Seven times Champions League winners find themselves behind Man United, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Barcelona despite the fact that they have won more titles. Why? Here is the reason. In 28 years they have played 249 matches, won 125, drawn 64 and lost 60 others. The San Siro giant has collected 314 points. In the last few years, the club has struggled to even qualify for Europa League.
5. Juventus- 327 All-Time Points
In 32 years in European competitions, Juventus has played 261 matches in total, won 130, drawn 67 and lost 64 others. The Old Lady has reached two finals in the last five years but they lost both to Real Madrid and Barcelona. This might change starting from this season because Cristiano Ronaldo has joined them. He is the man who has denied them the chance to lift the crown for several seasons now. In total, they have collected 327 all-time points. The Serie A side ahead of AC Milan despite winning only 2 crowns as compared to seven won by their League rivals.
4. Manchester United- 365 All-Time Points
