Christian Pulisic’s father Mark Pulisic has played all speculations over his son as the midfielder said to be linked with Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool move.

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC assistant coach has labelled the Premier League links as ‘hogwash’ (nonsense).

Pulisic moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2016 from PA Classics and has been promoted to the senior team just after one season.

The 19-year-old has also emerged as Tottenham target early this week, but the father told Sky Sports that the rumours are nonsense.

“He was linked to Tottenham. Last week it was Liverpool. The week before Man United. The week before this… it’s hogwash,” Mark Pulisic said.

“He’s linked with a different club every week. I have no idea. His agent right now is working and looking, in close relation with me and Christian, and we’re just trying to see what the best phase of his next development will be.”

“Now is the time that the season has just ended that we’ll sit down with Dortmund, we’ll sit down with, I don’t know whether others clubs are in the mix, [and see what] Dortmund’s idea is and their plans for Christian.”

“But there’s nothing concrete. Right now, Christian plays for Dortmund and that’s where he is planning on playing again next year.”

Christian Pulisic has refused to comment on rumours of a move to Liverpool this summer. The Borussia Dortmund forward has been linked with a switch to Anfield this summer, with Jurgen Klopp a big admirer of the frontman. When quizzed how his thoughts on rumours of a move to Anfield, Pulisic insisted he was concentrating solely on Dortmund. Asked if he was aware of the rumours, he said: "Of course, I am still finishing my season strong with Dortmund. I’ve been happy here all season. I’ve enjoyed the game. Which is most important. I am looking forward to having a good break this summer. Pulisic has scored five goals in 42 appearances for Dortmund this season, chipping in with seven assists in the process. The 19-year-old admits he must become 'more clinical' if he is to improve on his numbers next season. He said: “There have been a lot of ups and downs this season but it gave me a lot of time to look back and learn. As an attacking player I am trying to become more clinical, whether its’ the final pass or shot. I still have a long way to go, but it's a step in the right direction." #LFC #YNWA #Pulisic #ChristianPulisic #Liverpool #LiverpoolFC #WeAreLiverpool #LFCFamily #LFCNews #Anfield #TheReds #Dortmund #BorussiaDortmund #BVB #TheRedPost
