Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has confirmed that he had talks with Paris Saint-Germain regarding his availability for January move.

But the Belgium international has insisted that he will not leave the Stamford Bridge side in the January transfer window.

Hazard’s current Chelsea deal is due to expire at the end of the of 2019-20 season but is yet to accept another contract with the club.

The Blues are desperate to renew Hazard’s contract while Real Madrid are also interested in the forward’s signature.

The 27-year-old has recently revealed that it’s his dream to play for the La Liga giants amid PSG interest as well.

“I have one year left in June,” Hazard said in an interview on French TV show Canal Football Club.

“If I don’t extend, (a move) is possible. I can’t see myself leaving in January. I wouldn’t do that to the club, the fans.”

“Next summer it’s a possibility, but it’s also possible that I spend the rest of my career at Chelsea.”

When asked if he had spoken to suitors about his potential move, Hazard replied: “I had contacts with PSG, but it did not tempt me.”

“I have always said that if I came back to Ligue 1 it would be to Lille.”

With N’Golo Kante committed his long-term future to Chelsea last week, manager Maurizio Sarri has also given Hazard update amid much rumours on his Stamford Bridge future.

“I don’t know about a new contract for Eden. I don’t know about the evolution of a new contract, I think we can do it. I hope so.”
