Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri will be looking for reinforcements in January to make sure his good start of the season is not wasted.

The Blues managed 12 games unbeaten under the Italian manager, before losing to Tottenham Hotspur.

Sarri and his men are now ten points behind league leaders Manchester City and the Italian tactician’s belief is that it was too soon for the Blues to challenge for the title appears to have some truth.

Chelsea only brought in Jorginho and Kepa Arrizabalaga during the summer, and the Blues are expected to be busy come January.

Sarri is sure to be linked with a good number of his former Napoli players; as he was in the summer, and one has given him a boost by suggesting he could be ready for a new challenge elsewhere.

The west London club were linked with full-back Elseid Hysaj in the summer, but only Jorginho made the move from Napoli to London.

Could Hysaj make the move next month though?

In an interview with Radio Marte, as per Calcio Mercato, his agent Mario Giuffred said: “The player could go away. It is not said that he stays in Naples, everything can happen, even if he goes away in January.”
