The European champions have been keeping tabs on the former Aja star but are now likely to hit the rock as the Premier League giants have entered the race.
According to Spanish outlet AS, the Bernabeu side are seriously looking to seal the signing of the 26-year-old playmaker.
“It’s hard to name just one particular top-level club who are keeping a close eye on him,” sources told AS.
“Because there are sides from England, Spain, Italy and Germany.”
“Eriksen sees Madrid as a very big club. For him, it would be a great honour to play in the Bernabeu.”
“When we talk about great clubs, of course, we talk about Madrid. It could be the first option.”

Mauricio Pochettino side will take on Fulham on Sunday at Craven Cottage as Eriksen will be required to shoulder more of the goalscoring burden after Harry Kane injury.
Eriksen joined Spurs for just £11m in 2013 and has since gone on to score 62 goals in 250 appearances for the London club.
