Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is wary of Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa as both sides will lock horns on Thursday’s Europa League clash.

The Premier League side will travel to Wanda Metropolitano hunting at least one goal and keep themselves away from conceding a single goal.

The Gunners boss, who wants to secure the Champions League spot for his side next season, admits that Diego Costa has the potential to make the difference.

Former Chelsea striker, who re-joined the Spanish giants in January, is expected to feature for Atletico in the tie.

Wenger told reporters: “In history, he has shown he can make differences. It’s our job to keep him quiet, maybe the best way is to play in our half and not in the half of Atletico Madrid.”

The Spain international has scored six goals and three assists in 18 appearances for the Los Rojiblancos since joining the side in January.

Arsene Wenger, who recently announced that he will step down as Arsenal manager this summer, still wants to maintain the chances of reaching the Europa League final.
