Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has made it clear that he misses some aspects of life in Ligue 1 including the atmosphere at stadiums.

The France international has apparently revealed that the ambience at Ligue 1 grounds in better compared to the English Premier League stadiums.

The 27-year-old, who is enjoying his second season at Arsenal, has claimed that the Premier League possesses more spectators than supporters.

Lacazette told Le Progres: “I miss Ligue 1’s atmosphere. In England, the fans are more spectators than supporters. There’s a better atmosphere in French stadiums.”

Lacazette joined the Gunners from French giants Lyon for a £52 million move in the summer of 2017.

The forward has scored 22 goals in 49 appearances for the North London side following his record of 129 goals in 275 appearances for Lyon.
