SPECIALIST IN FAILURE: Top 6 Coaches with Most LOSSES in Premier League history

Jose Mourinho once called Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger a ‘specialist in failure’. The Portuguese was then managing Chelsea but now he is at Manchester United. The Gunners fans attacked him for the attack but today they might give it a second look. Today, we want to take a closer look at Coaches with most losses in Premier League history.

6. Arsene Wenger- 150 EPL Losses

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is under serious pressure at the moment after a poor run of results in recent months. Champions League football is looking unlikely yet again next season because they are currently 6th on the table, 12 points behind Liverpool who are fourth. There are only eight games remaining and one of them will be at Old Trafford.

Today we want to look at the number of Premier League matches he has lost since taking over in 1996. The Frenchman has managed 820 matches, won 471, drawn 199 and lost 150. It is not a bad record for a manager who has been at the Club for more than two decades. The Gunners boss will need to win Europa League to get back in Champions League.

5. Mark Hughes- 170 EPL Losses

Stoke City sacked Mark Hughes earlier this season after a poor run of results. The Welshman has spent a lot of money in the last few years but the Club was not making progress. He has also managed QPR, Fulham, Blackburn Rovers, and Manchester City. In total, he has lost 170 matches.

4. Steve Bruce- 173 EPL Losses

Manchester United legend Steve Bruce is doing a fine job in English Championship with Aston Villa. They are currently third on the log with a big chance of getting the automatic promotion place. However, his record in Premier League is not very good. He has lost a total of 173 matches in English topflight during his days at Hull City, Crystal Palace, Birmingham City, Sunderland, and Wigan Athletics among others.
