English defender John Terry started his youth career at London side West Ham United in 1991 when he was only 11. He joined Chelsea’s academy as well as reserve team in 1995 at the age of 14.

Terry has been at Stamford Bridge for 19 successful seasons winning different trophies including some individual awards.

Veteran centre-back left the Blues in the 2017 summer signing a one-year contract with Championship club Aston Villa.

The former England international defender was immediately appointed as the captain for the 2017–18 season.

Today, we take a look at some best moments for John Terry during his career at Chelsea.

4. Winning the Champions League in 2012

John Terry didn’t feature in the UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich in 2012 due to a red card picked up in the semi-final second-leg against Barcelona.

But he still lifted the European glory at the Allianz Arena on the 19th of May 2012. This was a dream come true for Terry and was perhaps the greatest victory in his history.

3. Winning his first EPL title with Chelsea in the 2004-05 season

Chelsea won the Premier League title in the 2004-05 under manager Jose Mourinho after 50 long years without grabbing it.

Terry won his first league title as club captain while he was at the age of 25. This was a brilliant season for him as he also managed to score 8 times the Blues in all competitions.

He also won different awards in that season such as the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award and UEFA Club Defender of the Year.

Furthermore, he was named in the PFA Team of the Year, FIFA FIFPro World XI and UEFA Team of the Year.
