Arsenal defeated Watford 3-0 at Emirates to make it two wins out of two. The Gunners thrashed AC Milan 2-0 on Thursday night and continued the same against Troy Deeney side. The goals were scored by Mustafi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian makes the list because he also assisted the second goal scored by the Gabonese.
4. Petr Cech- Arsenal
There are a number of players who could’ve have made this list including Riyad Mahrez, Chris Wood, and Kennedy but when a man saves a penalty to finally reach 200 clean sheets, you can’t ignore that. Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has now achieved what nobody has ever done. He saved Troy Deeney penalty to make keep his 200th Premier League clean sheet. The journey started at Chelsea in 2004.
3. Ashley Young- Manchester United
Manchester United 2-1 win against Liverpool on Saturday had many talking points. The Reds fans and Coach believe they should’ve got at least one penalty but that will not matter now. However, the other big focus is just how good Jose Mourinho side defended. They all did a great job but Ashley Young performance against Premier League joint-top scorer Mohamed Salah is up there. The 32-year-old silenced the tricky Egyptian for 90 minutes. He fully deserves praise for that incredible performance.
