7. Marco Reus – Borussia Dortmund

The German forward began his footballing career in the youth ranks of Borussia Dortmund before he left for the U-19 team of Rot Weiss Ahlen in the summer of 2006 as a teenager.

Borussia Monchengladbach signed him from there and he took the Bundesliga by storm before Dortmund activated a £14.5m release clause in 2012.
