TOP 10 Best Dribblers In Europe – Premier League Ace Tops The List

Football statistics institute CIES has revealed the best dribblers in Europe, but neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo sit in first place; and the latter is not even among the top 20.

10. Nabil Fekir (Lyon)

Fekir has scored 55 goals in 145 games for Lyon since breaking into the first-team back in 2013; the 24-year-old has since consistently been linked with a move to the Premier League thanks to his influence on the pitch. Fekir has netted 19 times this season, assisting 7.

9. Mario Lemina (Southampton)

The Gabonese’s St Mary’s Lemina enters the index in ninth position, recording three dribbles per 90 minutes, of which 79 percent were successful.

8. Sofiane Boufal (Southampton)

Another Southampton ace, Boufal is placed in eighth in the rankings, trying 4.6 dribbles per 90 minutes of play with 53 percent of those successful.

7. Arthur Masuaku (West Ham)

The 24-year-old Frenchman is the only defender to feature the list. Often named “King of the Dribble”, his 63 successes in the Premier League are only bettered by Eden Hazard (97) and Moussa Dembele (74)

6. Papu Gomez (Atalanta)

A talented, diminutive player, with quick feet and a low centre of gravity, captain Papu Gomez is a creative, technically gifted, and dynamic footballer, who is renowned for his pace, dribbling skills, and high work-rate.

5. Mousa Dembele (Tottenham)

Dembele put in one of the performances of the season in Spurs’ rousing Champions League comeback against Juventus last two weeks, sparking praise from several pundits; his abilities can’t be unseen.
