James Milner left Manchester City for Liverpool in 2015 after five seasons at the Etihad Stadium. On 19 March 2017, Milner scored in Liverpool’s 1–1 draw against former club Man City.

The goal broke a Premier League record by a player for the most matches scored in without losing (47 matches).

Man City fans were angry with him for the celebration but that did not prevent the Englishman to celebrate again in the following season after scoring a penalty against City.

Emmanuel Adebayor has been at Arsenal between 2005 and 2009 when he left Emirates Stadium for maManchesterity.

When Arsenal travelled to Manchester City for a Premier League clash in early 2009-10, Adebayor scored with a header.

The Togo international striker violently celebrated the goal by running and then sliding in front of the Gunners fans.

Adebayor also kicked Gunners striker Robin van Persie in the face which saw him receive a three-match ban for violent conduct.

“I scored and wanted to show people it is not a good idea to abuse me. I really didn’t understand it at all. I was running on pure emotion and when you take emotion out of football we are going to have a big problem,” Adebayor said.
