Real Madrid are currently underperforming and club manager Zinedine Zidane has recently admitted that he is responsible for what is happening.
The Los Blancos have managed to win UEFA Champions League two times consecutively. But Zidane’s men are now not capable to provide an impressive performance.
The Spanish giants have young players who want to make their names at the club and they are able to it. However, the lack of game time could be the main reason for these youngsters to consider away move in the summer.
Now, let’s take a look at three of Real Madrid young players who could leave Bernabeu at the end of the season.
3. Dani Ceballos – 21-year-old
Dani Ceballos has been a magnificent player last season. The midfielder was a key player when Spain won the UEFA European U-21 Championship last year.
The Spaniard has won the Player of the Tournament award. However, since the 21-year-old joined the Bernabeu side from Real Betis, has only played league games.
Therefore, Ceballos needs to consider his departure still if he wants to improve his football.
2. Mateo Kovacic – 23-year-old
Mateo Kovacic is another Real Madrid young player who could leave the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season.
The Croatian midfielder has been in Manchester United radar for long-time as the Red Devils look to replace Michael Carrick, who could retire in the summer.
Kovacic isn’t enjoying as many playing opportunities at Bernabeu as he fell down the pecking order under manager Zinedine Zidane.
The 23-year-old had a brilliant spell at Inter Milan before he joined the European champions in 2015.
But with Toni Kroos and his compatriot, Luka Modric are all ahead of him, Kovacic has now become a regular Real Madrid substitute.
Kovacic needs to think twice about his future and make a move to United to play alongside Pogba and Matic.
