Barcelona has completed the signing of yet another Brazilian. This time it is Philippe Coutinho from Premier League side Liverpool for a fee believed to be £142m. The playmaker becomes the 32nd player from the South American football nation to play for the Club. 5. Romario- 1993-95

Brazil 1994 World Cup hero Romario had a brief spell with Barcelona between 1993 and 1995. The forward short stint was a prolific one because he netted 53 goals in 82 matches. In fact, he scored 30 goals in 33 appearances in his first season at Camp Nou.

4. Ronaldo de Lima- 1996/97

The original Ronaldo as many like to call him also played for Barcelona for one season. The Catalan club signed him from Dutch side PSV for a record £13.2m. He had a great season at Camp Nou scoring 47 goals in 49 appearances. He was not happy at the club and after one season he left to join Inter Milan for £19.5m. He later joined Real Madrid where he enjoyed a lot of success alongside Zidane, Beckham, and Figo.

3. Neymar- 2013-17

World most expensive player Neymar spent four successful years at Barcelona. The Catalan giants signed him for £75m from Santos in 2013. He was later joined by Uruguay international Luis Suarez and together they formed the dreaded MSN with Messi. They lifted La Liga 2 times, 3 Copa del Rey trophies and 1 UEFA Champions League crowns. He netted 105 goals in 186 matches. In 2017, French side Paris Saint-Germain triggered his release clause to sign him for a record €222 million.
