GOAL MACHINES: Top 5 NBA Total Points Leaders Through Week 12

This is the 12th week of the NBA regular season and the best players keep improving their performances day after day. Giannis Antetokoumpo went on to surprise everyone with his great performances. Let us take a look at the NBA total points leaders through week 12.

5. Kyrie Irving – 989 points (Boston Celtics)

Kyrie Irving left the Cavaliers last summer, looking for a place where he’d be the leader. He must have found one in Boston as his performances can talk. Now he’s fifth among the NBA regular season top scorers so far.

4. Russel Westbrook – 994 points (Oklahoma City Thunder)

It’s no surprise if Westbrook makes the list. The reigning MVP has continued his killer mentality this season, recording triple-doubles almost every single game like he did last season. Now he ranks fourth among the NBA point leaders with 994 points.

3. Giannis Antetokounmpo – 1046 points (Milwaukee Bucks)

This season Antetokounmpo is posting numerous career-highs. He’s among the only three NBA players with 1000 and more points this season. The 23 years old seems unguardable at times, and he will surely be one of the greatest basketball players of all time if he continues like this.

LeBron James: 1077 points (Cleveland Cavaliers)

On Monday, LeBron struggled in the Cavaliers’ loss to Timberwolves. But this won’t stop him from being the best player on the planet. King James has scored 1077 points so far and stands second on the list.

1. James Harden – 1132 points (Houston Rockets)

James Harden’s scoring pace seems unbelievable. It might be early, but some have already started giving him this season’s MVP crown. Harden is impressing everyone with an improved version from last year. He has been leading the league from the very beginning to now.
