European football season is getting closer to the boiling point. All five top Leagues are taking shape and UEFA Champions League Group matches are over. Today, we want to look at the top five highest scoring teams in the five Leagues which include La Liga, Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, and Bundesliga. The list also includes goals scored in the cups and Europe.
6. Chelsea & Dortmund- 52 goals
Antonio Conte is not happy with his Chelsea team so far this season because he feels they are not scoring enough goals. However, they are level with Borussia Dortmund with 52 goals in all competitions so far this season. The Bundesliga side is struggling because they are giving away too many goals too. The Blues take position three in the Premier League table.
5. Real Madrid- 53 goals
Real Madrid scored three goals against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night to book their place in the last 16 of UEFA Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo struggles in La Liga were put to bed because he netted his 9th goal in the competition to set a new record. The Los Blancos are not scoring goals as freely as we know them but they have already netted 53 times in all competitions so far.
4. Man United & Barcelona- 54 goals
Manchester United is level with Barcelona when it comes to goal scoring this season so far. The two European giants have netted 54 goals each in all competitions. The Catalan giant tops the La Liga table but the Red Devils will need to beat Manchester City to get closer to the top position. Jose Mourinho must come up with a perfect plan to stop Pep Guardiola or else the title race will be over.
