Top 4 Arsenal News – “Arsenal Can’t Win The League Under Wenger”

Walcott gets fired; Emmanuel Petit explains how Arsenal can still win the title, while Tony Adams thinks Arsene Wenger is a bad luck.

4. Emmanuel Petit Explains What Arsenal Must Do To Win The Title

Petit, who won the Premier League with Arsenal in 1998, insists that his former club can now move forward again.

“The Gunners showed huge passion on Saturday and they need to hold onto that mentality moving forward,” Petit told Paddy Power News.

“The way they played with desire and offensive flair reminded me of how we used to play. Arsenal will definitely make the top four if they keep that level of performance up.

“They are probably out of the title picture, but anything can happen; in 1998, we were 12 points behind in February and pulled that back.”

3. Arsene Wenger to fire Walcott

Theo Walcott’s 10-year spell at Arsenal could be coming to an end, according to The Sun. The Gunners are apparently happy to let the 28-year-old leave the club to raise cash for new arrivals.

Walcott is not the only player leaving; with Mathieu Debuchy, Carl Jenkinson and Calum Chambers all thought to be on their way out in January.

With speculation surrounding the futures of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, and Jack Wilshere, who are out of contract at the end of the season, there could be plenty of new faces coming to north London to replace them.
