La Liga is one of the most competitive leagues in Europe. But is the best one when it comes the UEFA’s league coefficient.

The La Liga was founded in 1929, as clubs from across the nation competed to be crowned Spanish and European champions.

A number of players have failed to make their mark in this league, while others created lasting memories.

5. Antonie Griezmann (104 goals in 263 appearances)

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann began his professional career in Spain with Real Sociedad in 2009.

The 26-year-old helped the club in the war of promotion from Spanish Segunda División during 2009-10 season.  After five seasons with the club, the attacker moved away to Atletico Madrid in 2014.

He began to establish himself as a top quality player, putting in outstanding displays at the highest level of the game.
