The Frenchman has since gone back to United’s Carrington training base to step up his recovery.

Among them, including ‘coaching players, training coaches and participating in building and developing PVF to become the leading youth football training centre in Vietnam, in line with the famous football academies across the world’.
Giggs has made it clear numerous times that he wants to embark on a management career. But despite being linked to top-flight clubs, including Leicester City and Southampton, the Welshman is yet to be hired.
The Salford City co-owner worked as assistant coach to David Moyes and Louis van Gaal respectively at United. But the United legend left the club following Jose Mourinho’s arrival.

Vinagre is currently impressing on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he has made nine appearances in all competitions.
The Portuguese teenager’s performances have reportedly attracted interest from other clubs.
However, the Portuguese Under-19 international has hinted that his long-term future may still lie at the Ligue 1 giants, where the left-back has a contract until 2022.
The 18-year-old told O Jogo: “United is a great club and a dream, like other big clubs in England and Spain.”
“At the time, I was very focused on United, because it was a great opportunity. But then the other proposals were studied and I, together with my advisors, thought that the best project for my development would be Monaco.”
Wolves are said to be keen on signing Vinagre on a permanent deal either in January or in the summer.
2. I want to stay at Valencia – Andreas Pereira
Andreas Pereira has revealed that he does not want to return to Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old was heavily involved in United’s preparations for the 2017-18 campaign. But the Brazilian decided to join Valencia on loan in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.
At the time, United boss Jose Mourinho admitted that he was disappointed that Pereira had decided to leave the club on loan when there was the possibility of first-team football at Old Trafford.
It has recently been claimed that United will recall Pereira when the winter window opens. But the Belgium-born attacker has revealed that he wants to continue his development with Los Che.
“In my head, I want to be here, help Valencia until June. It is the thought with which I came,” Pereira told Super Deportes. “I know that I have this clause in the assignment contract and now I have to wait to see. But my mind is focused on Valencia and I want to stay here.”
“It is important that I am playing to grow, be better and help Valencia. It would be very difficult to return to United mid-year and continue with the same evolution that I’m having now.”
1. Marcus Rashford reveals admiration for Ronaldo
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has revealed that he tries to emulate Brazil legend Ronaldo.
The 20-year-old is expected to start against Brazil on Tuesday night when England welcome Tite’s team to Wembley.
Rashford has said that he was present when Ronaldo scored a hat-trick for Real Madrid against United in the Champions League back in 2003.
The England international forward has always looked to style his game on the now 41-year-old.
“He was my brother’s favourite player – that’s why I’ve grown up watching so much of him and his games,” Rashford told reporters.
“It’s all those clips on YouTube and my first ever game that I saw live, he was playing in it. I always remember it. It was in 2003 and scored a hat-trick. I was only young, though.”
“He was obviously a top player who won a lot of things in his career. So when you know he’s saying good things about you then it really stands out.”
“He always played free. No matter where he was playing, he played free and went out there and expressed himself. When you do that, that’s when you play your best football. When you’re young you watch clips of the best players in the world and try and emulate them – it just tends to happen naturally.”
