GOLDEN GLOVES: Top 6 Goalkeepers with most CLEAN SHEETS so far in EPL

Premier League is getting hotter every weekend. Manchester City is setting the pace in the championship but the chasing pack is not very far away. The goalkeepers are doing their job too and today we want to see who is leading in the Golden Gloves race.

6. Petr Cech- 4 clean sheets

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has only managed 4 clean sheets so far this season in the Premier League. The all-time record holder will hope the Gunners defense can improve as the season progress. The Czech Republic international has helped his team collect 19 points in 11 matches. The London side takes position six in the table so far.

5. Jonas Lössl- 5 clean sheets

Huddersfield Town is enjoying a dream start in the Premier League after promotion last summer. They are currently in position 10 with 15 points after 11 matches. The win against Manchester United at home will remain a historic win for them in their history. Jonas Lössl has kept 5 clean sheets which have certainly played a key role for them too. A golden glove will be massive for the club.

Hugo Lloris will be pleased with his job so far because he has kept 5 clean sheets. He has a tight defense in front of him which of course helps to keep the ball out of the net. However, the France international is a top shot-stopper.

3. Thibaut Courtois- 5 clean sheets

Chelsea man between the posts Thibaut Courtois has not enjoyed a great start this season so far. The Blues defense has been changed several times and this affects consistency. The Belgian number one has kept 5 clean sheets so far this season to help his team gain 22 points in 11 matches. The defending Champions are now 4th in the table, 9 points behind leaders Manchester City.

2. Ederson- 5 clean sheets

Manchester City is setting the pace this season in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola side has not lost a single match so far this season. Last weekend they demolished Arsenal 3-1 at Etihad Stadium to go 8 points clear at the top.

The Spaniard signed Ederson from Benfica and the results are there for all to see. He has kept 5 clean sheets so far this season to help his side collect 31 points out of possible 33. They have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool this term.

1. David De Gea- 8 clean sheets

Manchester United has the best defense in the Premier League this season. They have conceded only five goals so far this term as compared to City and Spurs who have allowed 7 each. It is certainly not a surprise because Jose Mourinho is known to play defensive football.

David De Gea has benefitted the most because he does not have to do a lot to keep the ball out of the net. The Spaniard has kept 8 clean sheets so far this season. He will certainly be happy to lift the Golden Gloves this season.
