5. Juventus and Inter Milan want Olivier Giroud
Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are reportedly interested in Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.
The 31-year-old came close to leaving the Gunners this summer, admitting recently that he had rejected a switch to Premier League rivals Everton.
According to Calciomercato, both Juve and Inter will both be in the market for new strikers next summer. Now the both Italian giants have put the Frenchman high on their shortlist of candidates.
The France international forward has 100 goals in 237 appearances in all competitions since his 2012 switch from Montpellier.
4. Liverpool agree to sell Philippe Coutinho in January
Liverpool have reportedly given the green light for Philippe Coutinho to leave the club in January.
The Brazilian was pursued by Barcelona during the summer. But it is believed that the Reds rejected three bids from the Catalan giants.
Widespread reports have claimed that the highest offer was in excess of £100m. But the Merseyside outfit stood firm and kept hold of the playmaker, who signed a new long-term contract in January.
According to Mundo Deportivo, despite fending off interest from Barcelona in the summer, Liverpool have struck an agreement with Coutinho that will allow him to leave Anfield.
The former Inter Milan ace will leave for the Camp Nou side if a reasonable offer is put forward.
3. Real Madrid eye Alvaro Odriozola swoop
Real Sociedad defender Alvaro Odriozola is reportedly a summer transfer target for Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old made his Spain debut in Friday’s 3-0 win over Albania, which saw La Roja book their spot at the 2018 World Cup.
The full-back has also already made nine appearances for Sociedad’s first team this season. The Spaniard appeared twice in the Europa League and seven times in La Liga.
According to AS, Real Madrid have been impressed with Odriozola’s development. Now the Spanish champions are considering launching a £35.7m move at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
Odriozola is a product of Sociedad’s youth academy, having joined the Basque club at the age of 10.
2. Barcelona considering Danilo Pereira swoop
Barcelona’s Director of Football, Robert Fernandez, spent much of the International break scouting Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira, according to the Daily Express.
The 26-year-old Portuguese midfielder has widely impressed since his move from Portuguese minnows C.S. Maritimo to Porto in 2015.
The Portuguese was heavily linked with both PSG and Manchester City throughout the summer, but no deal came to fruition.
His latest contract with the Portuguese giants purportedly contains a £55m release clause.
Meanwhile, the Barcelona hierarchy see the midfielder as the ideal replacement for the ‘on the wane’ 29-year-old Sergio Busquets.
1. AC Milan want Premier League target Ceballos
AC Milan are in the chase to land Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, according to a report from Sport.
The former Real Betis star is also a target for Arsenal and Liverpool, despite the 21-year-old having only signed for the capital club in the summer.
