Romelu Lukaku has emerged unscathed from a goalscoring half-hour cameo in Belgium’s World Cup qualifying win over Cyprus on Monday night.
The Manchester United striker came on as a substitute in the 66th minute, with the Red Devils already three goals up at the King Baudouin Stadium.
Lukaku not only played on until the end of the game without further complications. But he got onto the scoresheet himself as Belgium ran out 4-0 winners.
The 24-year-old missed his country’s trip to Bosnia-Herzegovina earlier in the week as he attended a rehab center to overcome an ankle injury.
3. Man United interested in Cadiz midfielder Alvaro Garcia
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Cadiz midfielder Alvaro Garcia.
The 24-year-old has previously represented Granada in La Liga. But currently, plays his football in Spain’s second tier.
According to Grada 3, United boss Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the Spaniard’s technical ability. The former Chelsea boss is interested in bringing the versatile midfielder to Old Trafford over the next 12 months.
The report claims that Mourinho has made an initial approach for Garcia, who is believed to have a release clause in the region of £7m.
Garcia has made 44 appearances for Cadiz since joining the club from Granada in the summer of 2016.

Martin Atkinson has been appointed as the referee to oversee Saturday’s Premier League showdown between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield.
The arch rivals go head to head with United seven points above their competitors in second place; while the Merseyside outfit reside seventh.
Jose Mourinho’s team are unbeaten in 10 games in all competitions. But Liverpool have only managed to clinch one win in their last seven outings.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the man in the middle at Anfield will be Atkinson. This referee has officiated three clashes between the rivals, all of which have been won by United.
The Bradford-born official has already overseen the Red Devils this season, having refereed the team’s 4-0 rout over West Ham United on the opening day of the campaign.
