EPL INJURY CRISIS: Top 6 Clubs Injuries after a TOUGH International Break

Premier League Coaches will be pulling their hairs after the current international break. The championship is heating up and the last thing you want is more injuries. The truth is that countries are trying to qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup. The players want it too and the result is injuries and fatigue. Today, as the International break continues, we want to take a look at the injuries list so far;

6. Chelsea- 3 Injuries

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will be pulling off his hair after learning that N’Golo Kante is now out with hamstring injury. It is a massive blow given that they lost Alvaro Morata to a muscle problem in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City. The Frenchman injury makes things even worse because new signing Danny Drinkwater is also out with a calf strain.

5. Arsenal- 4 injuries

 

Arsenal is currently in position five in the Premier League table with 13 points same as fourth-placed rival Chelsea. They are six points behind leaders Manchester City and United. They will need to make sure that they don’t drop more points going forward. The Gunners injury situation is not that bad. They need to nurse Koscielny (Achilles Injury), Callum Chambers (Hip Injury), and Santi Carzola (Plantaris Injury). Germany defender Shkodran Mustafi has also been added to the list after suffering a thigh strain.

4. Tottenham Hotspurs- 4 Injuries

Tottenham Hotspurs is breathing down the necks of the two Manchester Clubs. They are now five points behind Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. However, they will need to work hard to help Victor Wanyama (Cartilage Knee Injury, Mousa Dembele (ankle injury), Danny Rose (knee ligament injury) and Erik Lamela back on the pitch to challenge for the title.

3. Manchester City- 4 injuries

Manchester City is neck-to-neck at the top of the table in Premier League at the moment. Pep Guardiola defeated Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge to show they can win matches without Sergio Aguero (fractured ribs), Vincent Kompany (calf muscle strain), and Benjamin Mendy (knee injury). The Spaniard will also have to do without Fabian Delph who has suffered a hamstring injury.

2. Liverpool- 5 injuries

 

Liverpool will face Manchester United at Anfield after the International break. Jurgen Klopp needs all the points against Jose Mourinho to at least the Reds fans he is still the right man for the job. However, he will have to do the job without defenders Dejan Lovren (back injury), Nathaniel Clyne (back injury), midfielder Adam Lallana (thigh injury), and keeper Bogdan who has a knee injury. The Reds has also added star player Sadio Mane who has suffered a hamstring injury. He will be out for six weeks.

1. Manchester United- 6 injuries

 

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will be very disappointed with Belgium boss Roberto Martinez. The Spaniard went on to play Fellaini and he suffered injuries. The fact that the European has already qualified for Russia World Cup next year means the Coach should have rested key players.

The midfielder has suffered a knee injury. They have joined Phil Jones (knock), Michael Carrick (knock), Paul Pogba (hamstring), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (knee injury), and Marcos Rojo (knee injury).
