4. Barcelona Star set to join Milan
Barcelona full-back Aleix Vidal is set to join Serie A side AC Milan in January. The right-back has been pushed out of the team by the arrival of Nelson Semedo from Benfica.
According to CalcioMercato, the 28-year-old will be brought in to replace injured defender Andrea Conti. The fact that he is not a regular at Camp Nou will certainly make him cheaper for his suitors.
3. ‘Man City can sign Ronaldo & Messi’- Fernandinho
Manchester City has the financial muscle to sign any player including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. These are sentiments of City midfielder Fernandinho. The Brazilian, however, does not think the club philosophy will welcome such players. The plan is to build a strong team.
“Could we sign Messi or Ronaldo? I guess so, but then you have to consider the club’s priorities first. We have the financial power, everyone knows that, but there’s the priority issue that must be considered,” Fernandinho told Goal.
“Are we aiming to sign one player or to assemble a strong, competitive team to achieve our goals? Sometimes people mistake some things regarding that, thinking just one player would make up for the needs of an entire club. Maybe it’s not supposed to be like that.
“City has been working throughout the years to mount competitive teams and pursue titles. Of course, the club made some big and strong investments in the beginning, with top-level and well-known players, but the project itself is based on having a strong team, on developing a top academy structure to reveal new players.
“The City project is much more than about signing a single player with a strong name, that would eventually cost a lot more.”
2. BOMBSHELL: Kane READY to join Madrid anytime
Tottenham Hotspurs forward Harry Kane has not ruled out joining Real Madrid soon. The English striker said he is happy in London at the moment but an offer from the Los Blancos might be too good to turn down. There were rumors on Wednesday linking him to a 200 euro deal to Santiago Bernabeu to replace Christiano Ronaldo.
“I would never say no,” Kane said.
“I would never say yes. I think in football, you never know and you never rule out anything.
“It is not something that I definitely want to do but it could happen. You just never know.
“Like you said, at the moment, I am very happy where I am here – that is all that matters. We will see what happens, but for now, that is all I am focusing on.”
1. REVEALED- The Man who HELPED Ronaldo master taking Free-kicks finally comes OUT
Manchester United legend Edwin van der Sar has revealed that he played a key role in Cristiano Ronaldo masterly of free-kicks. The Portuguese is a well-known master in dead balls especially penalties and free-kicks. The former Holland International has revealed that he helped CR7 during their four years together at Old Trafford. They played together between 2005 and 2009 winning 2 EPL titles and 2008 Champions League crown.
‘Off the field, Ronaldo was focusing on everything extensively, such as resting up properly and strengthening his body,’ Van der Sar said.
‘After training sessions, he would often work on his free-kicks and then come to me and say: ‘Edwin, can you go in goal?’
‘I’d say I was old so he would be better off using one of the youth team keepers, but he would insist I went in goal as he wanted to score past me.
‘I would tease him a lot and say things like: ‘You won’t score against me, Ronnie, you know it. Ask the reserve goalie, that’s better for your confidence.’
‘He’d get agitated and reply: ‘No, no. You’ve got to go in goal!’
‘Cristiano is a good guy. And the common perception of him is not a true reflection of his personality.’
