Manchester has finally completed their first signing this summer. Arsenal has suffered a massive blow because Bayern Munich has completed the signing of their top target. Chelsea has increased the amount Liverpool should pay for Solanke after his U-20 World Cup heroics. Bellerin has told his friends he wants to join Barcelona.
For this and more transfer rumor, enjoy;
5. Chelsea- ‘He is a World Champion, pay £10 million’
Chelsea has demanded £10 million from Liverpool for striker Dominic Solanke. The Reds signed the 19-year-old forward from the Blues academy at the end of the season. Jurgen Klopp will need to pay the London side a certain fee for raising the player through their youth system.
The amount paid is normally determined by a tribunal. The Merseyside giant is willing to pay £3m but the Stamford Bridge side now wants £10 million. They were initially asking for £8m but the player played exceptionally well last week to help England win U-20 World Cup. The fee has since gone up.
4. Arsenal make a €12 million bid for a defender
Arsenal has finally made a bid for Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer. The Gunners have reportedly tabled a €12 million but the Turkish side wants a minimum of €15 million.
According to TurksVoetbal, Arsene Wenger will need to complete the deal quickly because AC Milan and Inter Milan are preparing to table counter offers.
3. ‘Bellerin told me he wants to join Barcelona’- Suarez
Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin wants to return to Barcelona according to his Spain U-21 teammate Denis Suarez. The 22-year-old feels it will be unfair to leave the Gunners because they gave him a rare chance. However, at the same time, he wants to return to Camp Nou.
“I have spoken to Bellerin but it is not an easy situation because Arsenal trusted in him since he was a boy,” Suarez told TV3.
“It is his decision and Arsenal’s decision. I really don’t know what is going to happen but I wish he can come.
“Both Sergi Roberto and Alex Vidal have had amazing seasons in that role but if finally, Bellerin is coming he would challenge them to be picked in the starting line-up, but Bellerin and Roberto can play in other roles; it is not easy replacing the best right-back ever.
“I have spoken to him [Bellerin] and from one side he wants to join Barca, but from the other, he feels very attached to Arsenal. It is a hard situation and I am nobody to be speaking about this, but I wish he can come.”
2. BIG BLOW- Bayern has signed Top Arsenal Target for €41.5 million
Bayern Munich has announced the signing of Corentin Tolisso from Lyon for €41.5 million. The 22-year-old French International signed a five-year deal. He has played 160 matches for the Ligue 1 side scoring 29 goals, 14 of them came last season. It is a massive blow to Arsenal and Chelsea. Arsene Wenger has been monitoring him closely but the Bavarians made the move.
“I had a wonderful time at Lyon, and I’m very thankful for that,” Tolisso told Bayern Munich’s official website.
“Now I’m really pleased to be at one of the best clubs in Europe. I have great aims for my time at FC Bayern. Today is a great day for me.”
Carlo Ancelotti is not joking this summer; the midfielder is now the fourth signing this summer. Others include Rudy, Niklas Sule, and Serge Gnabry.
1. DONE DEAL: Man United Complete their first signing for €45 million
Manchester has completed the signing of Victor Lindelof from Benfica. The 22-year-old will cost €35m (£30.9m) but the deal could rise to €45 million (£40m) depending on performance. The centre-back has made 73 appearances for the Portuguese side since he made his debut in 2012. He has also played 12 times for his country Sweden.
Lindelof said: “I am thrilled to be joining Manchester United. I have enjoyed my time at Benfica enormously and I have learned a lot there. But I’m looking forward to playing in the Premier League at Old Trafford and for Jose Mourinho. I’m keen to get started and make my contribution to the team’s efforts to win more trophies.”
Mourinho said: “Victor is a very talented young player, who has a great future ahead of him at United. Our season last year showed us that we need options and quality to add depth to the squad and Victor is the first to join us this summer. I know that our fantastic group of players will welcome him as one of us.”
